Tsogyal Latso—Inside the New Temple July 2017

Tsogyal Latso is the birthplace of Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal in eighth century Tibet. Since the end of the Cultural Revolution, this sacred site has been gradually revitalized and expanded through the efforts of dedicated nuns, Tulku Sang Ngak Rinpoche, Khandro Tare Lhamo and Namtrul Rinpoche, Dorje Drak Rigdzin Yidzhin Norbu and more recently, by a global sangha. In 2015, a new temple was built and the entire complex much improved.

In 2017, a new awning was placed over the sacred life-force lake of Yeshe Tsogyal and the meticulous work of the sacred artwork inside the temple was initiated. This will take two years to complete. This video takes you inside the temple on July 9, 2017. A unique feature in the future will be murals depicting episodes for Yeshe Tsogyal's life story of liberation. www.jnanasukha.org and www.tsogyal-latso.com.
