"I, Yeshe Tsogyal, will continue to manifest and lead all beings to wisdom-bliss."

From our Founder:

In 2002, when I created the Jnanasukha (Wisdom Bliss) Foundation, I had no idea of the potential I was tapping into. This turned out to be nothing less than Yeshe Tsogyal's activities in the modern world! But at the time, what I had in mind was just funding the translation of five hundred pages of Yeshe Tsogyal's teachings in the form of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche's mind treasure, The Dakini Heart Essence.

When the translation was easily funded and completed in two years, opportunities just started appearing. The most important was the leap in Internet technology and the most surprising, was my karmic connection with Tsogyal Latso, Khandro Yeshe Tsogyal's birthplace in Tibet.

Fast forward to now, and every year continues to be blessed with amazement for our expanding activities and gratitude for our growing global sangha..

And. . . this is often lots of fun! When stumbling blocks and challenges arise, the Directors come together to brainstorm and innovate. And through it all, we know that Yeshe Tsogyal will always illuminate our path and we're happy.

Warmly,
Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo

Now published by Shambhala/Snow Lion, this 14th century treasure text is expertly translated by Chönyi Drolma and blessed with a foreword by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. The book is also enhanced with comments and insights from Chönyi Drolma, Lama Dechen Yeshe Wangmo. Khandro Thrinlay Chodon, Anam Thubten Rinpoche, Chagdud Khadro, Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown, Ngawang Zangpo and Prof. Holly Gayley.

In the words of Shambhala Publications:

"The many layers of the heroic life of Yeshé Tsogyal, Tibet’s best-known dakini and female master, are revealed in this inspiring work. Translated here for the first time, this terma, or “hidden treasure,” presents an outer narrative of her birth, family, and struggles in a traditional male-dominated society; an inner account of her meetings with the great master Padmasambhava; and a secret chronicle of her retreat at Chimpu and her visionary journey to Oddiyana. This accomplished translation is enriched by the refreshing insights of six contemporary scholars and teachers of Tibetan Buddhism, making this invaluable guide to the life of Yeshé Tsogyal a treasure for practitioners, scholars, and anyone intent on the possibility of awakening."

Available at Shambhala, Amazon and other booksellers.
