Drupwang Pema Lhundrup Gyatso Rinpoche, born in Amdo, was told in a visionary dream to go to Central Tibet where he would accomplish his life's activity. After thirteen years of retreat at Chimphu in Central Tibet, he became widely recognized as a great master. Again following visionary instructions, he traveled to Shang Zabbulung, where Yeshe Tsogyal attained the rainbow body. Eventually, Rinpoche became the head of all the Nyingma monasteries in the Zabbulung Valley, one of five valleys consecrated by Guru Rinpoche,
Often referred to as Zabtrul Rinpoche, Lama Yeshe Wangmo met Rinpoche and received his blessings in 2014 and 2015. Rinpoche requested a few translations and also financial assistance for a new Guru Rinpoche statue he recently commissioned in Lhasa for his new monastery at Sindul Palchen, a sacred site of Vajra Yogini in Zabbulung.
Although The Foundation was unable to provide all the funding for the statue, we made and initial offering in November, 2015, accompanied by a promise make a second offering in January 2016.
