Incense from eastern tibet. (Click image to Add to Cart.)
This incense is made by Lama Wangmo’s friend, Rabzin Dorjee. He's taken her on two pilgrimages to Kham and she loved his incense so much, she brought a suitcase-full home with her! The ingredients were taken from the Four Medicinal Tantras and other texts on smoke offerings. The main ingredients are white and red sandalwood, rhododendron primulaeflorum, Kashmiri saffron, Himalayan juniper, spikenard, and the six superlative medicinal substances (nutmeg, clove, piper cubeba, cardamom, saffron, bamboo pitch). There is no stick in the center and no chemical binding agents. It is held together by bamboo pitch. The fragrance is healing, purifying, and clarifying. As you know offering incense is a meritorious daily practice.
Each box contains two smaller boxes for a total of 56 sticks. $20 includes First Class postage in the USA. For foreign orders, please mail yeshe@jnanasukha.org.
